Evernorth, a Ripple-backed digital asset treasury company, began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN following the October 9 closure of its merger with SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp. II. The entity holds approximately 473 million XRP and $300 million in gross cash. At the deal's closing reference price of $1.43 per XRP, the token holdings are valued at roughly $677 million, significantly lower than the more than $1 billion funding touted when the merger was announced in October 2025. This valuation gap stems from XRP's price decline from $2.37 at signing to $1.43 at closing, representing a roughly 40% drop.

The listing process faced substantial shareholder redemptions, with about 80.3% of Armada's public shareholders redeeming their shares for approximately $10.58 each. This action removed roughly $195 million from the trust, leaving a thin float of only about 4.5 million original public shares. Consequently, the stock experienced high volatility, touching an intraday high of $53 before settling at $16.64 by midday on its first day of trading as Evernorth. Ownership is concentrated among key backers: SBI Holdings controls 39.9% of voting shares, Arrington Capital holds 19.9%, and Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen is tied to 9.9%. Ripple and its affiliates are capped at 9.9% voting power and have signed six-month lock-ups until April 2027.

Most of the XRP treasury originated from existing holders swapping tokens for stock, including contributions from Arrington (211 million XRP), Ripple (127 million XRP), and the Larsen-linked trust (50 million XRP). An additional 84 million XRP were purchased using early funding. Evernorth plans to generate yield through decentralized finance applications and by running validators on the XRP Ledger, aiming to increase the amount of XRP behind each share. Hugo Jeandesboz, formerly of Coinbase Asset Management, has been appointed to lead this strategy.
