Open Standard has launched $OUSD, a dollar-pegged stablecoin designed to provide businesses and developers with advanced infrastructure for global payments and settlement. The launch is supported by major financial entities including Coinbase, Mastercard, Stripe, and Visa. Each integration path supports 1:1 USD conversion at no cost, aiming to connect dollar-denominated digital assets with existing banking systems.

The stablecoin is issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, with reserves held at BlackRock, Lead Bank, and BNY. It is natively supported on Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo blockchains, with trading venues including Coinbase, Kraken, and Uniswap. While integrations with BVNK, Stripe, and the Visa Stablecoin Platform are live, Coinbase support begins October 1. Open Standard describes itself as a partner-driven initiative involving more than 200 financial institutions.
